hereabouts

No, I did not give my cameras away. I'm back.

So, I'm all settled at Michigan State University. So that is either good or bad for my artistic ventures. Hopefully, it is more good! Even if the CVS there doesn't develop film anymore....... More obstacles, more obstacles.

CAMERA: Lomo Fisheye 2
FILM: CVS 400 ISO

Anyways,  there isn't a theme (is there ever?) besides that the few beginning ones are either double exposures or had a makeshift sharpie-filter (blue or red) over the flash.

Try to think of the last few autumn ones as a teaser for what is to come!

One, Two

I've kept a consistent journal for a little over a year now, but lately I've been experimenting with story telling. I never really thought myself to be one for words, but there's no harm in trying. Here's my first attempt at a (very) short story.

        One said hello to Two.
They started walking along a mass of water; probably a river or a lake, but they               couldn’t decide what the requirements were for either, so they just decided that it is                 just H2O gathered into a presumably irregular geometric shape.

“You know,” said one to the other, “you are mostly water, but you don’t look like               that mass at all. You have flesh, and hair, and eyes, well yours are blue like that water,           but you have lips and I am sure that the water there doesn’t.”
“Well, it is a body, though. Just a body of water,” said One.
Two felt slightly defeated and was sad because that thought was the best that Two had had all day.

summer is back

Yet another summer vacation has begun. The heat tends to make me sluggish and unwilling to do anything except hide in my bed waiting for the humidity and the sun to depart for the day. However, during this summer vacation, I plan on completing more projects! (hopefully)

  This includes:

  • a photo a day (film definitely, perhaps digital as well)
  • more d.i.y.
  • painting
  • perhaps an odd creative venture every now and then
  • continuing lookbook

Hopefully, with me being more active in my projects, I will post more often!

Feedback/following is always appreciated! (I enabled commenting for everyone, so please be nice!)
